Scouts is all about fun, challenges and adventure.
Toddington Scout Group is part of the Scout Association which is the UK's biggest mixed youth organisation. We change lives by offering 6 to 18 year-olds fun and challenging activities, unique experiences, everyday adventure and the chance to help others so that we make a positive impact in our local community. Scouting enables children and young adults to reach their full potential.
What do Scouts do?
At Toddington we are passonate about ensuring our young people from every background can take part regardless of any barriers. Scouting is inclusive to all, regardless of your culture, gender, race or religion.
All sections within the Group get the chance to participate in at least one overnight experience each year. We also run a bi annual event to Guernsey open all members aged 8 and above.
We hope that during their time with us all Scouts would benefit from learning outdoor skills, cookery, craft, teamwork and self motivation. Whether they are at the Hut or at our local campsite the chance for meeting new people or taking part in a new experience is always available.
What do volunteers do?
Toddington Scout Group is successful due in part to the tireless decication and ethusism of our Leadership Team.This Group of wild and exciting indivuals come together to provide Scouting on every level.
Our Group benefits from the individual skills that our Leaders provide from craft to bike maintenance. We are always looking for new members to join our happy team that can bring their life experiences and new ideas that will enhance our Group.
